ESRI Developer Network (EDN) is an annual subscription-based program. EDN provides software developers with the resources needed to build a wide range of custom GIS solutions. These solutions can range from standalone desktop applications to mobile, Web, and enterprise solutions.

The EDN subscription includes the following software:

• ArcGIS Server (all editions) including 3D, Data Interoperability, Geostatistical, Image, Network, Schematics, and Spatial extensions
• ArcGIS Mobile
• ArcGIS Engine Developer Kit including 3D, Data Interoperability, Geodatabase Update, Maplex, Network, Spatial, Schematics, and Tracking extensions
• ESRI Data & Maps

ArcGIS Desktop includes a suite of integrated applications including ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcGlobe, and ArcScene. Using these applications, you can perform any GIS task, from simple to advanced, including mapping, geographic analysis, data editing and compilation, visualization, and geoprocessing. ArcGIS Desktop is available at three functional levels: ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo. Developers can add extended functions, new GIS tools, custom user interfaces, and full extensions for improving the professional GIS productivity of ArcGIS Desktop.

The ArcEditor Single Use License includes the following extensions :

• ArcGIS 3D Analyst
• ArcGIS Spatial Analyst
• ArcGIS Network Analyst
