Many Avenue programmers are faced with the challenge of migrating existing Avenue based applications to the new ArcGIS environment. In this book, one will find a set of guidelines, along with numerous samples, for converting ArcView 3.x Avenue code into Microsoft's Visual Basic and ArcObjects code for incorporation into the ArcGIS environment. The book's companion CD includes an ArcMap document file containing all of the Avenue Wraps wraparounds, and this project file can be used as a starting point in converting an Avenue application.
