The ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension enables ArcGIS Desktop users to directly access and use most data formats without the need to convert between formats. It also allows users to create custom transformations and formats to easily build custom data flows that support varying data formats and uses. ArcGIS Data Interoperability helps you improve productivity by allowing you to work within a single GIS that integrates data from any source. Downloading: This software is available as a download. If you already have an evaluation version of ArcGIS Data Interoperability, you do not need to download it again. After licensing the software, you only need to enter the registration code in the evaluation version to disable the time-out function. If you don't already have an evaluation version, you can download the extension now.

Maintenance: Maintenance can be purchased for the core product (ArcView or ArcEditor) and one or more of the ArcGIS extensions. Maintenance is an annual subscription and includes technical support, updates, and many other benefits.
