ArcGIS Network Analyst is a powerful extension that provides network-based spatial analysis
including routing, travel directions, closest facility, and service area analysis. Using a sophisticated
network data model, users can easily build networks from their geographic information system (GIS) data

Maintenance: Maintenance can be purchased for the core product (ArcView or ArcEditor) and
one or more of the ArcGIS extensions. Maintenance is an annual subscription and includes technical support,
updates, and many other benefits.
Requirements: The single use license of ArcGIS Network Analyst requires a single use license of
ArcView 9.3.1 or ArcEditor 9.3.1.
Licensing: Use of ESRI software is subject to the ESRI
License Agreement [PDF-182 KB]. ESRI also offers
concurrent use licenses for ArcGIS Network Analyst with ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo.
